Aviator Lifts Off with a New Brand Ambassador

16 Apr 2024

Spribe’s Aviator, the innovative crypto-based game that caught the attention of our research team back in 2022 with its unparalleled success trajectory, has been moving relentlessly on its steep upward path to cash and glory, and is now boasting not one, but two brand ambassadors of its own, a rare feat among online casino games, or any games at all.

Merab “The Machine” Dvalishvili Is the New Face of the Market Star Game

UFC bantamweight fighter Merab Dvalishvili, a.k.a. “The Machine,” has just joined UFC light heavyweight fighter Alex Pereira from Brazil in the brand ambassador team of the leading Cash or Crash game Aviator.

In 2022, Aviator shocked industry observers when the 2019-released game brought a 452% hike in the unique active Indian casino users for games by Spribe over 10 months, with a particularly spiky boost of 194% between July and August 2022.

Today, this huge success translates to more than 12 million monthly players globally for the Spribe game provider, making Aviator one of the most popular online casino games currently and a game that can support two brand ambassadors of its own.

“We are really excited to add Merab Dvalishvili to our growing roster of UFC brand ambassadors which also includes light heavyweight champion, Alex Pereira,” Spribe’s COO Giorgi Tsutskiridze stated.

“We see a lot of cross-over from sports and sports betting online casino play, especially within regulated markets therefore our UFC agreement is catapulting Aviator’s brand to a whole new audience of players, ready to embrace the crash game revolution,” Tsutskiridze added.

Breakthrough of the Year: EMEA 2024

Earlier this year, Aviator‘s creator, the Spribe studio, was honored with the Breakthrough Company of the Year award at the prestigious EMEA 2024 Global Gaming Awards ceremony in London, held on the 5th of February. According to experts, the Aviator game significantly contributed to that victory.

“I am very pleased to be working closely with such an innovative company that is famous for producing the world’s most exciting online casino game – Aviator. I believe that this partnership will be a great experience for all of us and I’m excited to share this journey with Aviator and my fans,” Fighter Merab Dvalishvili expressed his happiness with the new partnership.

Spribe’s idea to seek major partnerships that enhance the world of sports and online betting is nothing new. In 2023, the innovative game developer signed a multi-year marketing contract with the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization, UFC.

This partnership allowed Spribe to promote its games on UFC Pay-Per-View and Fight Nights and gain superior brand visibility in live broadcasts and the Octagon.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Spribe as an official UFC partner,” UFC Senior Vice President for Global Partnerships Grant Norris-Jones stated.

“Spribe creates the kind of next-gen games that have strong appeal for UFC fans because they offer a unique experience, with exciting features, stunning graphics, and engaging gameplay. We’re excited to help them achieve a broader reach for their brand and their games,” Norris-Jones said.

Partnerships between Game and Sports Providers Are Trending

Agreements between athletes and teams to boost the popularity of the best online money games are increasingly common. Nowadays, attending a sporting event not sponsored or promoted by a company linked to iGaming is practically impossible, be it game providers, casinos, or sportsbook platforms.

Spribe is already reaping the benefits from their strong partnership with Alex Pereira, signed shortly after closing the collaboration with the UFC. Through the fighter, the developer can count on a “heavyweight” to promote their games through creative campaigns and promotional content.

“Alex Pereira needs no introduction. He is one of the most accomplished fighters in the history of UFC, and we are incredibly excited to be working with him to run a series of campaigns that will help introduce Aviator to his fans for the first time.

“Alex Pereira needs no introduction. He is one of the most talented fighters in UFC history and we are incredibly excited to work with him to deliver a series of campaigns that will help introduce the Aviator to his fans for the first time,” Spribe’s COO Tsutskiridze commented.

“I’m excited to be working with the team at Spribe and to be introducing Aviator to my fans in various ways throughout the year,” light heavyweight UFC champion Pereira stated.

Stake Squeezes in F1 between Alfa Romeo and Audi

An even more prominent example of a crypto-based iGaming business partnering with high-level sports is provided by the Stake online casino, which has already been reviewed by our team of experts and will now boast with their very own Formula One team for two years, between Alfa Romeo and Audi.

Alfa Romeo signed with Stake and made them co-title partners to veteran Peter Sauber’s F1 team in 2023, but now that Alfa Romeo has withdrawn and Audi’s title holding, which was announced back in 2022, will not kick in until 2026, Stake gets the whole team in the world’s most expensive sport for 2024 and 2025.

The team will go on a day-by-day basis as Stake F1 Team and its full name for the two seasons will be Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber. In countries where online gambling and betting are illegal, the team will be shown as Kick F1 Team, as the arrangement was in the 2023 season, co-titled with Alfa Romeo.

Kick is a live streaming service founded in 2022 as a competitor to Amazon-owned Twitch. It is backed up by Stake casino founders Bijan Tehrani and Ed Craven, as well as streaming personality Trainwreckstv.
